I know there are less expensive puppies out there for sale, but it is to your long-term benefit to look beyond the dollar sign.  Purchasing a puppy is a big decision and he/she will be a very important part of your life, along with continued expenses, for years.  Please do not hesitate to ask me any questions and ask for references. More importantly, if feasible, a visit is encouraged to meet me and my family, our pets, and see the environment in which your puppy has been raised.

I am always available to you, before and after an adoption, to answer any of your questions about your puppy, from the simplest to the complex. If I don't have the answer, I will find it!

  • Pricing - Pricing is typically $600 - $900, however prices are subject to change. The amounts posted are PET ONLY prices, and do require the puppy to be spayed or neutered by 6 months of age.  Please realize that purchasing a “Pet” puppy in no way indicates that this puppy is not show or breeding quality. My preference is to place puppies in forever-spoiled pet homes! However, if you are interested in a puppy with breeding rights, please contact me.

  • Deposit/Payment - When you have decided to purchase a puppy from Blue Moon Mini Aussies, a $200.00 non-refundable deposit is required to hold him/her. Deposits will be accepted when a litter is born, at which time, upon receiving signed contract, the puppy will be placed "on hold" until payment is complete. Individual arrangements for payment plans can be discussed as long as all money is cleared before puppy leaves our home. I accept cash, check, money order, and PayPal (add 4% to amount being sent for incurred PayPal fees). When payment is complete arrangements will be made for pick-up, delivery, or shipping.

  • Waiting List - Blue Moon Mini Aussies is a small kennel with only one or two litters a year, but I do maintain a waiting list. Whether you are ready for a puppy now, or down the road, please contact me if you are interested in being placed on this list.

  • Size and Color - I can not guarantee size or eye color. Eye color can change and size is estimated only. I have no way of knowing for sure if your mini will remain a mini according to the breed standard. As with any breed of dog, some may be smaller, or bigger.

  • Health Schedule - Puppies will have a health check, tails docked (if needed) and dewclaws removed before they are 3 days old. All our puppies are wormed at 2, 4 & 6 weeks as well as vaccinated with a puppy shot combination at 6, 9, and 12 weeks. Your new puppy will be up-to-date for his/her age and health records are provided.

  • Shipping - If you decide to purchase a Blue Moon Mini Aussie and need to have it shipped, I will take care of all arrangements.  I work with the airlines or ground transportation to make sure the trip is as safe and stress free as possible for both the puppies and their adoptive families. I want this to be a positive experience for everyone involved. Please note:
--Puppies will not be shipped before 8 – 10 weeks of age.
--Puppies shipped with an airline will be in a temperature-controlled and pressurized area of the
airplane. Every Airline has different temperature restrictions. However the most favorable
temperatures are between 40 and 85 degrees.
--Shipping is at actual cost which includes but is not limited to, airline approved shipping crate
and supplies, airline/ground transportation charge, vaccination or medical exams required for
shipping and incurred mileage. Shipping typically averages $250 - $350.
--For people outside 48 states, I will always consider shipping a puppy to you; however it can be
very costly depending on your location. I am more than happy to do the research and determine the
approximate cost before a deposit is placed.
